  1. Population and dissenters: There are in my parish about Fifty three Families, whereof Four are Independents. There is a meeting house, but not licenced. There has been no teaching there for twenty years last past.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is no publick or Charity School in my parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There are no Alms house, Hospital, or other Charitable Endowment in my parish. Nor do I know of any Lands or Tenements that have been left for the Repair of the Church or any other pious use.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do not reside in my Vicarage House, but live at Honiton within two miles of my Living, where I have the Care of the Grammar School.

  5. Curate: I keep no Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: I have for some time past preach’d at Norleigh a neighbouring parish, one Sunday in the afternoon in a month.

  7. Frequency of divine service: On Sundays and other Days of Humiliation and Thanksgiving appointed by authority. I perform divine service and preach twice every Lord’s day, except as above.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four times.

  9. Number of communicants: I have about twenty five Communicants in my Parish, whereof Fourteen or Sixteen usually receive. The number at last Easter might be about Fifteen.

  10. Catechising of children: I catechize the Children in the months of May and June for Five or Six Sundays successively.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is no Chapel within my Parish.
