  1. Population and dissenters: Eleven Families, one Presbyterian, there is no Meeting-House in the Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: No.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: No.

  4. Residence upon cure: The Reason why Mr. Heath the Rector doth not reside personally upon his cure, is because he is one of the Assistants at Winchester-School.

  5. Curate: No & for this reason that part of the Parsonage House which Mr Heath the Rector had reserved consisting of one Parlour and one chamber is not sufficient room for me & my Family. I live within a Quarter of a mile of the Church and within one mile from the most distant House in the Parish my Name is Bampfylde Worth Ordained Deacon by the Late Bishop of Exon and am allow’d Thirty Pounds a year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: Yes. Sometimes at Butterleigh by way of Exchange, tho' by this means the parish is not at all neglected.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Lord’s-Day with a Sermon in the Morning and in the Afternoon, and on all other occasional Days when People give their Attendance.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four times every year, viz: at Easter, Whitsunday – Michaelmas and Christmas.

  9. Number of communicants: Eight. Six or seven of which Number Communicated last Easter.

  10. Catechising of children: In the Summer time for two month’s or more till those Children that are capable, can say their Catechism very well. There are no servants in the Parish, but such as have been already instructed in their Catechism.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: No.
