Chanter 225A, 142-143

  1. Population and dissenters: The number of Families in the Parish of Kenn are about one hundred & twenty six. There is no Dissenter nor Licenced or other Meeting House.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is not any Publick or Charity School maintain’d in the Parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is no Alms-House House Hospital or other Charitable Endowment, Nor any Lands or Tenements left for the repair of the Church.

  4. Residence upon cure: I have allways resided personally upon my cure & in the Parsonage House.

  5. Curate: I have at present no residing Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No. Except to assist some neighbouring Clergyman in case of sickness or some reasonable avocation.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine service is perform’d every Lords Day with a sermon in the morning & afternoon & all Holy Days & Wensdays & Fridays in the <Lent> & all other <Times> appointed by Authority.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administred thrice at Easter twice at Whitsontide once at Michaelmass & twice at Xtmass.

  9. Number of communicants: The number of Communicants is uncertain at Easter there are usually about one hundred & twenty & the whole at Michaelmas Whitsontide & Xtmass amount to about the same number.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are Catechis’d every Sunday in Lent & the Parisioners are negligent in sending their Children & servants to be instructed.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is no Chappel or Chappel in ruins within the Parish.
