Chanter 225A, 96-97

  1. Population and dissenters: Fifty two Families, whereof two Families are Dissenters, the one Quakers, the other Anabaptists. There is no Meeting-House in the Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: No.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is no Alms house or Hospital, or any Lands left for the repair of the Church, there is about twenty pounds given to Charitable use, but the Trustees are dead, and, I fear irrecoverable.

  4. Residence upon cure: I live with my Father, who is the Patron, about a mile from the Church.

  5. Curate: No.

  6. Divine service at other churches: At no other Church, unless in case of sickness to help a neighbour.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Lord’s day, with a sermon in the morning, and afternoon and Prayers upon Holy-Days.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four times a year.

  9. Number of communicants: About fifteen or sixteen that usually receive, and about that number Easter last.

  10. Catechising of children: About two or three months in the year.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is no chapel in the Parish.
