Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is no Alms-house, Hospital, nor Charitable endowment in this Parish. An annual Benefaction of one pound is given to the Poor, which I'm satisfied, is duly applied by the Church=wardens.
Residence upon cure: The Reverend Doctor John Finney is the Rector of this Parish. The Doctor sometimes resides in his parsonage-house. But he is at present in London. I lie two, or three nights of a week in the Parsonage=house, & spend a great part of my time in the Parish, the Remainder thereof I am with my aged Father.
Curate: My name is Thomas Freke. I am licens'd to the Cure, and am allow'd £35 a year for serving it.
Divine service at other churches: I do not perform Divine Service in any other Church, unless requested by my aged Father, which is usually one part of a Sunday in a month.
Frequency of divine service: I perform Divine service on Sundays with a Sermon in the forenoon, & afternoon, and on all Holy Days, when a congregation attends.
Frequency of communion: I administer the <Holy> Sacrament <of the Lord's Supper> four times a year viz: On Easter, Whitsunday, Michaelmas, & Christmas.
Number of communicants: There are about 35 Communicants in this Parish. 20 usually receive.
I believe about that number Communicated at Easter last past.
Catechising of children: I generally begin to Catechise <the Children & Servants> the first Sunday after Trinity, & continue Catechising & expounding on the Catechism, as long as any are sent me.
