  1. Population and dissenters: Two Hundred & Eighty two, one of them a Dissenter & call themselves Quakers; we have no meeting House.

  2. Public or charity schools: We have no publick School; as our Parish is large, we <have> Several woemen who instruct Children to read, & in their Catechism, they bring them duly to Church, & are paid for teaching the poorer Sort, by the Contribution of the well dispos'd, who entrust me with the Management of it.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: We have an Alms=House for three Poor Widows, an Apartment with ten Shillings per Annum, & a Garden for Each: we have land which was left for ye Repair of our Church; the clear income of it per Annum is Six Pounds & ten Shillings; four & twenty of the chief Inhabitants who are chosen Governours of the Parish, have the Direction of these Benefactions; I never heard of any Frauds in ye Management of them.

  4. Residence upon cure: This is an Impropriation belonging to the Charter House. Mr. Prescot my Patron is Master of Catherine Hall in Cambridge and resides there.

  5. Curate: I am the residing Curate, my Name William Morris, am duly qualified, I live within a Mile of the Church & my Salary is thirty Pounds the Year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd in our Church twice every Lord's Day, & on Holy-Days & Fridays througout the year; I preach once from Michaelmas to Lady=Day, and from Lady=Day to Michaelmas twice, Every Sunday.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament is administred in our Chuch the first Sunday in Every month, & at Christmas, Easter & Whitsuntide.

  9. Number of communicants: The Holy <Sacrament> {Communion} is administred three Several Times at Easter (viz) on the Thursday before, on Eastr Day, & ye Sunday following, & I computed that ye Number of Communicants, those three Times amounted to 298, or thereabouts.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are Catechiz'd every Wednesday and Friday throughout Lent, & for the Summer Quarter are not only taught, but instructed in ye meaning, of the Church Catechism Every Lord's Day. The Parishioners (more ye Pitty) are too often remiss in Sending them.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: We have no Chapel.
