  1. Population and dissenters: I have 100 Families in my Parish, of These 8 are Dissenters, of the Presbyterian Denomination, there is no Meeting-House of Dissenters in my Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: No.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There are Lands, & Tenements belonging to the Parish, which are applied by the Trustees to the Relief of the Poor, & the Repair of the Church. I do not hear of any Abuse in the Management thereof.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside personally upon my Cure, & in an hired House.

  5. Curate: Highwick is a Daughter-Church to Kingsteignton.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice on every Lord's Day, with a Sermon in the Morning, & in the Afternoon; also Novr 5. & Jan. 30. with a Sermon, & on Easter-Monday.

  8. Frequency of communion: Seven Times in the Year.

  9. Number of communicants: In my Parish are about 120 Communicants, between 50 & 60 usually receive, & between 80 & 90 Communicated at Easter last.

  10. Catechising of children: In the Summer-Months about 8 or 10 Times, the children are Catechized in my Church.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: Besides the Church which is at Highwick, I have a chappell, called Lady Mary's Chappel in Newton-Bushel which is kept in pretty good Repair, clean, and decent. At this Chappel the Children of that Part of the Parish, are sometimes christen'd, Prayers are said on all Saint's Day, & on May 29, & Divine Service is performed on every Lord's Day in ye Afternoon, from All-Hallows to Candlemas. I have no Chappel in Ruins.
