Population and dissenters: There are <but> three or four and thirty Families in my Parish, and they generally small; no Dissenters of any Sort, nor any Meeting-House.
Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is not in my Parish any Almshouse, Hospital, or other charitable Endowment. Nor have any Lands or Tenements been left for the Repair of my Church. But I am informed, yt Mr Arthur Parnell of my Parish, who died several years ago left by Will to ye poor of the Parish a Gift of £50 yt Mr Christopher Savery received the Money some years ago & charges his Estate of Lowerday in ye Parish with ye Payment of 35 shillings a year to be applied for the above mentioned uses & Mr N Lucsombe of Woolcombe receives & distributes it in what manner I can't learn.
Residence upon cure: I personally reside upon my Cure, and in my Parsonage House.
Frequency of divine service: I performed Divine Service in my Church twice every Lord's Day, with a Sermon in ye Morning and Afternoon; and constantly observe Christmas day and Goodfriday; and likewise the 5th of November, 29th of May, 30th of January, ye Inauguration Day and occasional Days of Thanksgiving & Humiliation, if a Congregation attends; for want of which I am obliged to omit the observation of Saints Days.
Frequency of communion: Four times in the year, Sc. on Easter day; Whitsunday, about Michaelmas, and Christmas.
Number of communicants: There are six or seven and twenty Communicants in my Parish; about twenty of ym usually receive, and near that number communicated at Easter last past.
Catechising of children: I catechize a little after Whitsunday, for several Sundays, till all, that are sent me, are examined; and the Parishioners are careful to send me such Children and servants as want Instruction.
