  1. Population and dissenters: About a Hundred & Thirty or Forty: of which Six are Dissenters: – Those of the Presbyterian Sect: there is no Meeting House in the Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: No Publick or Charity School endowed in the Parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: No Hospital or Alms House; – No Lands for the Repair of the Church; – nor any other Charitable Endowment in the Parish, except two pounds & twelve Shillings, to be laid out annually in Bread for the Poor.

  4. Residence upon cure: I Reside at present on the Vicarage of Braunton; But, with your Lordship's Leave, I propose to Reside for the future in my own House at Ide; which belongs to me there as Curate.

  5. Curate: I have a Residing Curate: His name is J. Payne. He is duly qualified according to the Cannons: He live in the House belonging to me as Curate. And I allow Him Thirty pounds a year, with the Surplice fees.

  6. Divine service at other churches: Divine Service is performed at no Church by my Curate; but my own.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd in my Church twice every Lord's Day, with a Sermon in the forenoon & after; & on all Holidays.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four several Times: viz at Easter, Whitsontide, Michaelmas & Christmas.

  9. Number of communicants: About Forty or Fifty Communicants usually Receive at a time, & about that number receiv'd at Easter last: Persons capable of Communicating amount to about four Hundred.

  10. Catechising of children: Children are Catechiz'd in the Church every Summer on Sundays in the Afternoon: Instructed beforehand by their Parents.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: No Chapel within the Parish.
