  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: Mr. Turner is my Curate at £38 per annum. He lives part of his time in ye adjoining parish of Buckland, & part in ye town of Bideford about 3 miles from Alwington.

  2. Other benefices: Pilton in ye Deanery of Barnstaple.

  3. Divine service at other churches: My Curate officiates at Lancrass every Sunday fortnight in ye afternoon.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Every Sunday twice a day with a Sermon in ye morning, except as far as relates to ye answer of ye above enquiry.

  5. Frequency of communion: Five times in ye year. From 20 to 30.

  6. Catechising of children: Sundays in ye afternoon.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: Yes.

  9. Number of families: About forty.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: A common school to teach Children to read. An alms house for three poor Labourers.

  13. Charity: No.

    Priest's orders and institution: Ordained Priest January 18th 1767.
