  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside personally upon my Cure. I reside in the School House at Plympton. I have a Curate Resident. The Revd John Fosse. His Salary thirty nine pounds a year with other allowances equal in the whole to forty five pounds. No Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have the Curacy of Plympton Maurice in the Archdeaconry of Totness.

  3. Divine service at other churches: [No answer given]

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed twice on the Lord's day with a Sermon in the Morning & frequently on Holidays.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacramanet <of the Lord's Supper> is administred four times in the Year. There are about twenty Communicant[s].

  6. Catechising of children: The Curate Catechises the Youth on Sundays in the afternoon.

  7. Church fabric: The Church & Chancel are (I believe) in good repair the Church Yard well kept & all things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: A Terrier was Supposed to be among the late Rector's Books &c – referred to February 1722-3 – an Extract from it in 1747 as drawn up in 1679 Bampfield Rector. I have a Correct Map of the Glebe Lands.

  9. Number of families: Fourteen Farm & eight Cott Houses.

  10. Chapels: No Chapel.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are in the Parish twenty two reputed Papists. No meeting Houses for Dissenting Congregations.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No publick School &c in the Parish.

  13. Charity: One benefaction about forty Shillings a Year duly applied.
