  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside at Atherington at present, having ye approbation of ye late Bishop for so doing which he obligingly acquiesc'd in as it was in many respects very inconvenient to me & I hope ye present Bishop will kindly continue ye same indulgence – ye Curate is ye Revd Mr. Chichester who tho' not resident in ye parish lives very near it. his house being in sight of ye Church & about 2 miles distant from it. His Salary 40 per annum & Surplice Fees.

  2. Other benefices: I have likewise ye Vicarage of Launcells in Cornwall.

  3. Divine service at other churches: The Curate performs Divine Service at no other Church.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Sunday with a Sermon on both parts of ye day there is likewise Service on every Solemn festival & State Holiday & prayers on some saint's days if they precede a Sacrament.

  5. Frequency of communion: 8 times in ye Year ye Communicants about 30.

  6. Catechising of children: In ye Summer during ye Afternoon's Service.

  7. Church fabric: All is in good repair & decent for divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

  9. Number of families: 75.

  10. Chapels: None.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: None.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: None.

  13. Charity: None – unless ye Barton of Buriat be deem'd such, which belongs to one of ye Colleges at Cambridge.
