  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in my Vicarage House.

  2. Other benefices: No.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at Bukerel Church, which is only a mile distant from my own, & which on account of its inconsiderable value & ye very mean state of the Vicarage House, has not for a great number of years been inhabited by the Vicar.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Prayers are read in the Morning, & a Sermon constantly preach'd in the Afternoon, at which time the Congregation is by far the most numerous.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is constantly administer'd four times a year – the number of Communicants in general about 30.

  6. Catechising of children: Constantly in the Summer Season.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: Yes.

  9. Number of families: Fifty.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No.

  13. Charity: There are two Closes of Land adjoining the Town of Honiton, the annual profits whereof are (pursuant to the Will of the Donor) layd out every Easter Monday in Dowles for the use of ye poor Labourers, among whom it is distributed by the minister & Churchwardens. The said donation during my residence in [the] parish has been faithfully & duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was instituted to the Vicarage of Awliscombe the 14th of May 1771 & admitted to Priest's Orders the 23d of June 1765.
