  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside, My Lord, personally upon my Cure, and in my Vicarage-House... I have no Lecturer, nor Assistant – tho' one of the most laborious Cures, perhaps, in your Lordship's Diocese; nor will the Income of the Living afford one. This, I hope, with due Submission, will sometime or other merit the Notice of the Diocesan.

  2. Other benefices: I have no more Benefices than One.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I do not perform Divine Service at any Church besides my own – its Duty requiring all my Time and Attention.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd in my Church twice every Lord's Day – with a sermon in the morning and afternoon.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administered Eleven Times in the year. Number of Communicants taking a Medium, an Hundred and Fifty.

  6. Catechising of children: Always in Autumn – often in Spring and Autumn. In Short – as often as they are prepared.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancel are in good Repair – the Churchyard well kept and all Things are Decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

  9. Number of families: The precise Number I cannot ascertain somewhere about 640.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel within my Parish, but what belongs to an Alms House – where Prayers are read by one of the poor Inhabitants.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I do not know of any reputed Papists in my Parish. Meeting-Houses we have Two; but Served by one Minister, or Teacher. These Dissenters are of the Denomination of Presbyterians. Their Teacher's Name is Benjamin Seaward.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There are Several publick Schools in my Parish: one, wherein the learned Languages are taught, Commonly call'd the Latin School – and another, where Boys are taught Reading, Writing & Arithmetic – each endow'd – with Several others of less note.

  13. Charity: There have Lands, Tenements, and other Benefactions, been left for charitable uses – but as the Corporation have the Direction and Management of the different Donations – I know nothing of the application – I trust they are duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Institution to the Living I now hold bears Date the 14th Day of May 1765
    Priest's Orders – 24th of May 1752.
