  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: My Lord,
    The Living of Bondleigh is at this Time under Sequestration, occasioned by the Resignation of the Revd Mr. Trivett. I am appointed to serve the Parish by Chancellor Carrington, and am allowed seventeen Shillings and six-pence per Sunday; but do not reside for want of accommodation. I reside at Torrington.
    There is no Lecturer in the Parish

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service only at Bondleigh.

  4. Frequency of divine service: I perform Divine Service twice on the Lords Day with a Sermon each Time.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times a year. The Number of communicants are generally about twenty.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer.

  7. Church fabric: All in good order.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier of the Glebe Lands.

  9. Number of families: About Forty.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no Papists <or> Meeting-Houses in the Parish.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no School, Alms-House, Hospital, or any Charitable Endowment in the Parish, or Library.

  13. Charity: There is a small Benefaction of eight Pounds. The Interest of which is distributed in Bread once a year.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was ordained Priest December 21st 1777 – was never instituted or collated to any Living.
    I have presumed to answer the above Articles of Enquiry, as Minister of Bondleigh – hope they will meet with your Lordships approbation.
