Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside at Sowton which Parish I serve - not at Buckerel on account of the badness & smallness of the house which has not been inhabited by any Clergyman for a great many years past. Mr Roskilly Vicar of Awliscomb whose church is about a mile distant from Buckerel church reads prayers & preaches there once every Sunday. His salary is £25 per annum.
Frequency of divine service: It has not been usual to have divine service administer'd but once a day for many years past, & the Living being very small has been for time immemorial serv'd in conjunction with another.
Charity: There is an Annuity payable out of two Estates of Buckerel to the master of the Grammar school at Honiton which I apprehend has been duly and regularly paid.
Priest's orders and institution: I was instituted to the Vicarage of Buckerel the 20th of May 1777
& ordain'd Priest July the 8th 1770
