  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: Mine is a perpetual Curacy, & has no House upon it. I reside at Shapwick at present, of which I am Vicar, in the Diocese of Bath & Wells. My Curate is Mr Russell of Meath, not resident because he resides on his own Living, not licenced, Salary fiften pounds. No Lecture.

  2. Other benefices: He hath Meath before mentioned about 4 miles distant from Dowland.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I am resident at Shapwick, where I perform Divine Service.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Service is performed once a Day alternately, with a Sermon only, because of serving his own Parish & never was served oftner.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times, about 20 Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: Between Easter & Whitsuntide.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: We have no Terrier yt I know of but one shall be made & delivered in at Visitation properly Signed.

  9. Number of families: About 30.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No Papists or Dissenters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No School. Alms House, Hospital, or charitable Endowment.

  13. Charity: None.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Institution & Pr[iests] Orders are sent into the north of Eng[lan]d with some Boxes but when I can see 'em, shall be sent to your Lord[shi]p.
