  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure with ye Salary of £40 per Annum - There is no Parsonage or Vicarage House.

  2. Other benefices: I serve the Church of Welcombe five miles distant from Hartland, a Donative in ye Gift of the Countess of Orford, salary eight Pounds per Annum.

  3. Divine service at other churches: At Welcome once a month in Winter & once a fortnight in Summer.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Always twice on the Lords Day with a Sermon in ye Morning, except when I serve Welcombe, & then only once.

  5. Frequency of communion: Seven times in the year - About 100.

  6. Catechising of children: As often as they send them to me, from Easter to Midsummer.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: There are no Glebe Lands. The great & small Tithes belong to ye Charter House.

  9. Number of families: About 250.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: None.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have a School, but not endowed.

  13. Charity: Yes. A few Pounds per annum to ye Poor.

    I was ordain'd Priest ye 23d of July 1769. I have not yet been honour'd with Institution.
