  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in my Parish of Shirwell. I have a Curate duly licensed my son Christopher Boyse who has ye Income of ye Rector for his salary which in clear Profit does not exceed that of a common Curacy. He resides in Barnstaple because the Parsonage House is unfit for any Clergyman & has not been inhabited by any for fourscore years & upwards.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I serve ye adjacent parish of Yarnscomb:

  4. Frequency of divine service: Every Sunday, once for ye day with a Sermon at each Parish, ye inhabitants are so few that they never had any other service.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times in ye year, ye number of Communicants about eight.

  6. Catechising of children: On Sundays in ye afternoon in ye Summer.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: Yes.

  9. Number of families: Six.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No.

  13. Charity: There are none.
