  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do reside personally upon my Cure, and in my Vicarage house.

  2. Other benefices: I have another Benefice, named Baverstock in Wiltshire, to which I was presented in the year 1774, by the Rector & Fellows of Exeter Coll: in Oxford.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform divine Service at no other Church besides my own at Ilfracombe.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice on the Lord's Day, with a Sermon in the morning, and on all other days besides, appointed to be kept holy.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administered at eight stated times in the year. The No. of Communicants, attended on that occasion, are about an hundred & twenty.

  6. Catechising of children: On Sundays in the Afternoon, & particularly between Easter & Whitsuntide.

  7. Church fabric: My Church & Chancel are in good repair, & my Ch: yard is also well kept. There are all things convenient for divine Service & in decent condition.

  8. Glebe terrier: The Terrier of the Glebe-Lands, Houses, &c is in the hands of a Prebendary of Salisbury, Dr. Cooper; who derives the Income of his Prebend from the Tythes, Houses, & greater part of the Glebe-Lands of the parish of Ilfracombe.

  9. Number of families: The number of Families in my Parish, is that of about two hundred & fifty.

  10. Chapels: I have no Chapel within my Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have no reputed Papists in my Parish. There is one Presbyterian dissenting Meeting House, with a Teacher named Williams, from Wales.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is a publick School, and two other private Schools, & also a charitable Establishment for the poor in my parish; which are duly managed according to the direction of their founders. There is a small Parochial Library likewise.

  13. Charity: The Benefactions designed here for pious & charitable uses, are all duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: The Date of my Institution to the Vicarage of Ilfracombe is January 29th 1771, and that of my Priest's orders March 2d 1760.
