  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside on this Living. I reside in Exeter & serve the Cure of Ashton in that neighbourhood. The Reason of my non-Residence is, that I only hold this Living for a short time, for a Minor. The Revd. Mr. Sweet Rectr. of Kentisbury the adjoining Parish serves it; His salary is twenty pounds a year. There is no Lecturer in this Parish.

  2. Other benefices: No.

  3. Divine service at other churches: This Church is serv'd with Kentisbury, by the Revd Mr. Sweet the Rector of it.

  4. Frequency of divine service: The service of this Church is on the Lords Day in the afternoon, with a Sermon.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times in the year about twenty communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: During the season of Lent.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: Yes.

  9. Number of families: About 24.

  10. Chapels: No.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have a private reading school only.

  13. Charity: No.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was instituted to this Living in the month of October in the year 1777. I was ordain'd Priest by the late Bishop of Exeter, on the fourth day of July 1773.
