  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside for the most Part at my House near Honiton, where I have always resided since I left the University, about three Miles distant from Widworthy. The Distance is so small, and I am so frequently at my Parsonage House at Widworthy, where I keep apartments furnished, with a Person to live in it, That I trust there is no Neglect in the Duty I in that Respect owe my Parishioners. No Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have no other Benefice.

  3. Divine service at other churches: No.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service with a Sermon is performed twice in my Church every Lord's Day.

  5. Frequency of communion: The sacrament of the Lords Supper is administered four Times in the year. There are upwards of thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: I always catechise the youth & expound to them myself before Confirmations. The Parish Schoolmaster who is also parish Clerk hears them every Friday in the afternoon.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a proper Terrier.

  9. Number of families: There are about Thirty Families.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no reputed Papists, nor any Meeting House for Dissenters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is a School for teaching poor Children to read & write; The masters Salary six Pounds a year with a House & Garden. No other charitable Endowment, nor any parochial Library.

  13. Charity: There are no Lands or Tenements, but two Benefactions left by Will, one of twenty shillings to be distributed yearly on St Lukes Day. The other of Forty Shillings to be distributed yearly to the Poor in Bread on the nativity of our Lord. They are duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Priests orders are dated Nov:r 1st 1766.
    And I was instituted to the Rectory of Widworthy Oct:r the 18 1769.
