  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure, & in my Vicarage-House, & serve it wholly myself.

  2. Other benefices: I have but one Benefice though two Parishes (viz) Marystow alias Stow-Mary, with the Chapelry of Thruselton annex'd.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service no where but at my own Church and Daughter Church, or Chapel.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd at Marystow once every Lord's Day, & twice on ye first Sunday of every Month (according to ancient Custom) on which Day there is no service at the Daughter-Church; but on all other Sundays Divine Service is perform'd one part of ye Day at Marystow, & ye other Part at Thruselton.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administer'd four times in every year at both my Churches, (viz) at Easter, Whitsuntide, Michaelmas, & Christmas, & the Number of Communicants in each Parish are commonly between twenty & Thirty.

  6. Catechising of children: I always Catechise the Children in each of my Parishes in the Summer-Season.

  7. Church fabric: Both my Churches & Chancels are in good Repair, The Church-yards are well kept, & all Things Decent for Divine Service are provided in each Parish.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have a proper Terrier of all my Glebe Lands, Houses &c, according to the Tenor of above-mention'd Canon.

  9. Number of families: In the Parish of Marystow there are about forty four Families, & in Thruselton about sixty.

  10. Chapels: I have only ye Chapel or Daughter Church of Thruselton (as before mention'd in answer to your Lordship's 2d Query) which is nominated to by Arthur Tremayne Esqr of Sydenham in ye Parish of Marystow, (to which Vicarage it is annex'd) - It is serv'd by myself, in ye manner related in answer to your Lordship's 4th Question; & is supported by ye Inhabitants.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have neither Papist, Meeting-House, nor Dissenter of any Denomination (that I know of) in either of my Parishes.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: I have no publick nor private School, Alms-House, Hospital, or other Charitable Endowment of that sort; nor any Parochial Library in either of my Parishes.

  13. Charity: In the Parish of Marystow there has been an Estate of Land left for the Repairs of the Church, (of ye value of about £20 per Annum) which is duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Institution to ye Vicarage of Marystow &c, is Dated Febry 19th 1777; And my Priest's Orders are Dated June 10th 1759. I rec[eive]d another Paper of Enquiries directed to the Minister of Thruselton, but as That & Maristow make but one Benefice, I hope your Lordship will look upon the Answers here given as satisfactory for both Parishes.
