  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do reside in the Parsonage House and am duly licenced to the Curacy.

  2. Other benefices: [No answer given]

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at Sutcombe by the late Bishop's permission.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Every Sunday alternately.

  5. Frequency of communion: Five times in the year - Communicants generally between 50 & 60. I have sometimes known near 80.

  6. Catechising of children: Usually once a year.

  7. Church fabric: The Church & Chancel are in as good repair as I ever knew them. The Church-yard tolerably well kept - and all things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: We have a Terrier of the Glebe Lands, Houses &c.

  9. Number of families: Between sixty and seventy.

  10. Chapels: None.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: None.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: None.

  13. Charity: A late Rector of the Parish gave some lands for the use of the poor & vested the disposal of the <annual income> in a Relation; by whom I believe it is properly applied. There was likewise ten pounds given to the poor by some body; the interest of which is distributed to the poor annually but the principal is lost.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Lord; I have answer'd your Lordship's enquries as Curate of Pyworthy:- I deliver'd them to the Rector who said he wou'd satisfy Your Lordship as to what related to him in his answers to your Lordship's Enquiries as Vicar of Moorwinstowe.
