  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure, but not in the Vicarage-House.

  2. Other benefices: No.

  3. Divine service at other churches: No.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice on the Lord's Day, with a Sermon generally on both Parts of the Day.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administered four times in the Year. And I believe, I have 300 Communicants & upwards.

  6. Catechising of children: The youth of my Parish are not catechised at any particular Times, but as often as they are sent for that Purpose.

  7. Church fabric: The Church is not in good Repair; But the Church-yard is well kept: And I have all Things decent for divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There are no Glebe Lands belonging to the Vicarage.

  9. Number of families: I imagine the number of Families in my Parish to be about seven hundred.

  10. Chapels: There is a Chapel within my Parish which hath not been served for many years, & is become ruinous and decayed in almost every Part of it.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are two reputed Papists; & one meeting-House for Presbyterians. Their Teacher's Name is {William} Henry Baynham.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There are two publick Schools in my Parish; & some Alms-Houses, which, I apprehend, are managed according to the Direction of their Founders. Here is also a parochial Library.

  13. Charity: There have been Lands, & other Benefactions, left for pious & charitable Uses; But whether they have been duly applied, I know not.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was ordained Priest on the twenty fourth Day of February 1748; And was instituted to the Vicarage of the Parish Church of Totnes the seventeenth Day of July 1767.
