Charity: There are two Closes of Land adjoining the Town of Honiton, the annual profits whereof are (pursuant to the Will of the Donor) layd out every Easter Monday in Dowles for the use of ye poor Labourers, among whom it is distributed by the minister & Churchwardens. The said donation during my residence in [the] parish has been faithfully & duly applied.
Priest's orders and institution: I was instituted to the Vicarage of Awliscombe the 14th of May 1771 & admitted to Priest's Orders the 23d of June 1765.
