Residence, curate and lecturer: Okeford, May 10th, 1779
My Lord,
I reside personally upon my Cure in a House adjoining to my Church-Yard, for the greater Conveniency: my Parsonage <House> lying at more than half a Miles Distance from it. I have no Curate, no Lecturer.
Other benefices: I have another Benefice, that of Zeale Monachorum in your Lordship's Diocese.
School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: I have a publick School in my Parish, with an Endowment of five pounds a year, for instructing Children in Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. No Alms-House, Hospital, or other charitable endowment. No Parochial Library.
Charity: There is an Annuity of three pounds (formerly given by one Mr Spurway) to the Poor of my Parish & also another Annuity of forty Shillings to each of two Poor Householders given by the late Mrs Pyncombe. Both of these are duly applied.
