AGM

Tuesday 12th of November 10:30am at the North Devon Record Office Search Room.

Gary Knaggs (Archivist at the North Devon Record Office) and Naomi Ayre (Librarian of the North Devon Athenaeum) will deliver a talk on the papers of the late Peter Christie, which have recently been received by the NDRO and Athenaeum. Peter was a popular and highly respected local historian and councillor, the author of 41 books, and served as the first Green Party mayor in Britain.

There will also be a display of documents from the NDRO and
Athenaeum’s collections.

Norden Survey

Copies of the Norden Survey are now available to all for the very reasonable price of £10 (p&p extra). Please contact des.atkinson@gmail.com if you wish to make a purchase.

Additional copies are being offered free of charge to all those volunteers who worked so hard to produce this major piece of work. Any volunteers who have not already done so should email the above address to claim up to three additional copies. We are also happy to donate copies of the survey to any society or library that would provide it on loan to members or to the general public (contact me as above).
